Smoked salmon salad with Thousand Island dressing is one of the most familiar and easy-to-eat salads.
Thousand Island is a famous salad dressing, commonly bottled and widely available in supermarkets.
The richness of mayonnaise combined with the mild acidity of vinegar and lemon, along with finely chopped ingredients, creates a flavorful dressing that pairs perfectly with smoked salmon and vegetables.
If it is not convenient to buy ready-made dressing, you can easily make it at home with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Salad dressing
    • Mayonnaise: 200 grams
    • Sweet chili sauce: 2 tbsp
    • Ketchup: 4 tbsp
    • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
    • White vinegar: 1 tbsp
    • Finely minced shallot: 1 tbsp
    • Capers, drained and finely chopped: 1 tbsp
    • Pickles, drained and finely chopped: 1 tbsp
    • Chili powder: ½ tsp
    • Salt: ½ tsp

Instructions

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth to create a creamy dressing.

Salad Bowl

  • Matchstick-cut smoked salmon: 150 grams
  • Baby potatoes, boiled with skin on, halved, then pan-seared until lightly charred: 10
  • Thinly sliced radish: 50 grams
  • Rocket leaves: 50 grams
  • Boiled asparagus: 100 grams
  • Sliced green olives: 1 tbsp
  • Sliced black olives: 1 tbsp

Presentation

Arrange the salad ingredients on a plate.
Add the smoked salmon on top.
Drizzle the Thousand Island dressing over before serving.
