Smoked Salmon Poke

Poke is a dish originating from America, influenced by Japanese cuisine.
Recently, poke has become popular in Vietnam and is loved by many young people.
With fresh ingredients, vibrant colors, and quick preparation, a poke bowl can provide a complete balance of carbohydrates, protein, and vegetables.
It is a convenient dish for lunch or a quick meal during the day.

Ingredients

  • Sticky white rice: 1 bowl
  • Smoked salmon cut into small cubes: 100 grams
  • Ripe mango cut into small cubes: 40 grams
  • Ripe avocado sliced: 40 grams
  • Boiled edamame: 40 grams
  • Diced cucumber: 40 grams
  • Boiled sweet corn: 20 grams
  • Chopped scallions
  • Roasted black sesame seeds: 1/2 tsp

Poke Sauce

  • Light soy sauce: 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice: 1/2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil: 1/2 tbsp
  • Mirin (optional): 1/2 tbsp

Mix all the ingredients together to make the sauce.

Presentation

  1. Scoop the sticky white rice into a deep bowl.
  2. Arrange the ingredients one by one on top of the rice.
  3. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and scallions.
  4. Drizzle the poke sauce over before eating.
