Smoked Salmon with Brown Rice

Brown rice is a familiar dish in many healthy diets.
When combined with smoked salmon, the dish becomes nutritious and very convenient for a quick meal during the day.
The chewy and nutty brown rice, eaten together with smoked salmon and fresh sprouts, makes the dish both light and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • Red cargo brown rice: 300 grams
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil: 1 tbsp
  • Salmon floss: 50 grams
  • Sashimi-cut smoked salmon: 150 grams
  • White sprouts: 1 handful
  • Roasted sesame dressing

Instructions

  1. Rinse the brown rice and soak for about 1 hour.
  2. Cook the rice according to the water ratio written on the rice package, adding salt and olive oil.
  3. Adjust the water amount so the rice is chewy while the grains remain firm and not too wet.

Presentation

  1. Scoop the brown rice into a bowl.
  2. Arrange the smoked salmon on top.
  3. Serve with sprouts and roasted sesame dressing.
  4. You can also mix in salmon floss to make the rice more flavorful.
